Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB) envisions a world where forcibly displaced people can use their skills and talents to move to secure futures. We work with governments, employers and partners to overcome the barriers that often prevent refugees from accessing skilled migration pathways. TBB seeks to be a catalyst for systems change in skilled migration, laying the groundwork for this solution to scale to serve millions of displaced people.

Scope of role

This role is responsible for implementing Talent Beyond Boundaries’ mission in Australia. This includes leading and overseeing the Skilled Refugee Labour Agreement pilot program, designed to welcome 200 refugees and their families. We are seeking a dynamic, proactive and creative leader who demonstrates excellence across a diverse set of responsibilities and who will thrive as part of a fast-moving, collaborative and global team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the international refugee end-to-end recruitment and settlement process with Australian employers, partners and other key stakeholders to enhance efficiency and speed of process
  • Manage corporate outreach activities with Australian employers
  • Manage Australian employer relationships throughout the end to end recruitment and settlement process, including documentation and reporting of progress
  • Work with the ANZ Director to refine and document TBB systems, resources and processes for enabling and supporting employers to recruit refugees at scale
  • Manage data collection and analysis to monitor and evaluate performance
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency of TBB’s operations in Australia and globally
  • Assist in identifying and securing funding opportunities and reporting to donors
  • Other duties as required

Key relationships

  • Reports to Australia and New Zealand Director
  • Will work in close collaboration with ANZ Program Officer, ANZ Recruitment Manager, and ANZ Relocation and Settlement Manager

Skills and experience

  • 5+ years of work experience in business development and operations preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent project management & time management skills
  • Excellent client relations and teamwork skills
  • Experience in client sales, pricing client services, and developing and testing new client services
  • High resilience and compassion
  • Strong computer literacy and willingness to use/learn a range of tools including Salesforce, Slack, Google Suite, Zoom, etc.

Desirable

  • Lived experience of displacement
  • Experience in data analytics an asset
  • Experience in organisational growth and change management an asset
