Our client is a top tier firm based in Ashburton providing audit, tax, and advisory services to individuals, SMEs, not-for-profit organisations, multi-nationals and government agencies. They are a full-service firm that is able to address any accounting need a Client might have. They pride themselves on their values driven approach and the development time they put into their team. They are looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team on either full or part time capacity.

Your new role
As an Assistant Manager you will be a pivotal link between more junior employees of the division and the management team. You will be part of the professional services team providing services to meet a range of client service requirements including assisting the managers maintaining client relationships. You will be involved in the coaching and mentoring of junior team members and will assist in the management of teams along with certain administration requirements of the Practice.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • 3 years minimum experience in a firm of Chartered Accountants
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • You are a motivated individual who enjoys working in a team
  • Demonstrated high-level technical skills and knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills and the desire to learn and be the best you can be in your field
  • Technically proficient across business advisory and business advisory related services
  • Experienced in the supervision of staff.
