The Assistant Manager of Total Rewards (under People & Culture department) will administer Minor Hotels existing compensation and benefits programmes to our team members including communication, enrollment, and reporting. In addition, the incumbent will assist the Total Rewards Manager in market research and data analysis to benchmark, revise, and develop compensation and benefits programmes. This entails consolidating and organising data from multiple sources to produce meaningful recommendations and reports related to Total Rewards and People & Culture practices. This role is ideal for an analytical and organised individual who is driven to excel in Total Rewards and People Analytics.

Qualifications


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proven researching and data analysis skills
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Applications with advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Competent in other data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Jupyter Notebook, R Studio) would be an advantage
• Exhibit ability to research, develop and produce meaningful analyses from multiple streams of data
• Must be proficient at successfully managing multiple and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while providing timely internal customer services.
• Work collaboratively with others with the ability to share knowledge and information
• Able to work on own initiatives and completing projects from end to end
• Have an experience to work in a multicultural environment is preferred
• Prior experience in an analytical role would be an advantage
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Political Science, Psychology, or other related fields

Key Responsibilities of the Role
• Monitor effectiveness of existing global Total Rewards policies, guidelines and processes
• Consolidate internal data and practices to construct an internal market intelligence database
• Assist in the development of Total Rewards policies based on market research and new trends
• Manage the annual compensation cycle including annual salary review and bonus payments
• Monitor the enrollment of Minor Hotels compensations and benefits programmes
• Develop new initiatives and process improvement on Total Rewards and People Analytics practices
• Manage the regional annual salary survey to ensure timely and accurate data submission
• Communicate regional annual salary survey reports and assist Property People & Culture leaders in interpreting the results to identify market gaps and median movements.
• Create communication and training materials to enhance Total Rewards programmes’ understanding by relevant stakeholders
• Network extensively to develop external market insights and to strengthen our existing compensation programmes
• Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
