Position Description:

Associates for Social Impact (“Associates”) and Business Analysts for Social Impact (“Analysts”) will contribute to Panl’s existing or upcoming social impact projects.
Working in small project teams, Associates and Analysts will understand, develop, and at times, support with the implementation of potential solutions for a partners challenge, problem, or question. Associates and Analysts will have the opportunity to work with senior team leads, industry experts and organizations within Vietnam and the region. Health and safety conditions permitting, Associates and Analysts may be asked to conduct in-person partner and/or site visits.

Key Activities:

• Grappling with complex and large problems, providing well-evidenced proposals and actions to solve them.

• Synthesizing recommendations from ambiguous and diverse information, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative methods.

• Communicating findings and recommendations across relevant stakeholders, including senior representatives from partner projects to colleagues who are leading and supporting delivery of activities.

• Collaborating effectively with diverse project partners and teams to facilitate and support optimal outcomes.

• Developing connections between your ambitions, strengths, and values through meaningful projects.

Knowledge, Competencies and Experiences:

Associates and Analysts are preferred, but not required, to have the following background and experience. Panl is open to candidates of all backgrounds and experiences.

• Bachelors degree; with 2-4 years of industry experience for Associates and 1-3 years’ industry experience for Analysts preferred (whether through internship, part-time, or kill-time positions)

• Experience applying a broad range of thinking modes i.e., analytical, creative, critical, and synthetic to design and deliver solutions that meet partner project needs

• Experience working in active, collaborative, and diverse environments (where diverse represents both modes of thinking and individual backgrounds)

• Experience with implementing and reporting on projects • Experience working in a bilingual environment, where English and Vietnamese language is used. Candidate has demonstrated strong written and verbal professional communication skills in both languages

Compensation: Panl will provide the following compensation based on position recruited for and the candidate’s knowledge, competencies, and experiences leading up to the position.
