About the role

We have a unique opportunity for a bright coordinator to join our friendly and robust Communications team. The Coordinator, Communications will be responsible for providing operational administrative support to the Communications Unit and to the Senior Manager, Communications. The role includes a broad range of duties with a focus on supporting media relations and web staff.

About you

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a coordinator or personal assistant/ executive assistant role, preferably in a communications, marketing, advertising or public relations business.
  • Strong administrative skills and proven experience organising meetings, appointments, functions and travel, and accurately and efficiently maintaining records and files.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated drive and initiative with a passion for delivering work to high standards, and ability to assist in the improvement of practices/procedures.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills and demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively in a small, busy team environment, as well as cross-functionally with other internal units.
  • Exemplary attention to detail, dealing with both text and numerical data.
  • Qualifications in Communications, Marketing or related field (desirable)
  • Experience working with an electronic direct mail (Mailchimp), a content management system (Kentico), event (Swift Digital) and/or analytics software (Sprout) will be beneficial.
