Everyday…

  • Review all employee health insurance quotations prepared by the sales team using the sales platform and approve the same within delegated authority limit.
  • Coordinate, propose any conditions and request approvals from our appointed panel of insurers for any specific underwriting conditions outside the scope of standard underwriting guidelines. Coordinate and find agreement between client and our appointed panel of insurers.
  • Consolidate, maintain, update and negotiate with our appointed panel of insurers for the most optimum underwriting ratings and conditions in order to maximise successful conversion of quotations to policies sold.
  • Maintain and update from time to time existing and new plan codes, coverages, ratings in any platforms.
  • Prepare and perform internal training for sales, operations, customer services, data and technology teams for group and individual health ratings, coverages, terms and conditions from time to time according to a structured schedule agreed.
  • Provide analytical and technical consultation in health and life insurance plan designs, financing and pricing which is competitive in the market while protecting the bottom line of the appointed panel of insurers.
  • Analyze and provide consultation health claims, identify anomalies, estimate future plan costs and provide technical input for developing pricing models in conjunction with Data Specialists.
  • Prepare quarterly experience reviews and renewal underwriting analysis.
  • Participate in the negotiation of new and renewal ratings.
  • Review contracts, employee booklets and financial statements.
  • Prepare specifications for seeking quotations.
  • Write reports and correspondences where required.
  • Assist and participate in client meetings as a team with sales and product owners where required.
  • Participate in providing higher quality client services and improve internal processes and efficiencies where required.
  • Develop strong working relationships with the sales team and our appointed panel of insurers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of group platforms, products and technology, and have a deep and comprehensive understanding of how these relate to group insurance consulting.
  • Exhibit the understanding of health insurance product compliance from regulators including updates on regulatory guidelines and to ensure compliance to OIC’s regulations.

You will need to…

  • At least 3 years of working experience in a consulting or group benefits insurance environment
  • Strong aptitude in analytical and financial analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Thai and English
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written
  • Client focused and experience in relationship building skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team and independently with minimum supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, refined organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines under pressure
  • Undergraduate degree in any course focused on analytical skills. Or if you don’t just go ahead and submit your CV too, we will suss you out
  • Effective ability to lead and train teams through sprint planning, retrospectives, and facilitation of multiple sprints within an enterprise environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
