Position Summary

We are currently looking for a highly competent Human Resources Business Partner based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for implementing the people agenda within MY Hub and Nestrade Marketing & Corporate Services, and for the creation and implementation of a people plan aligned with the Business.

Reporting directly to the Head of HR for Nestrade, your main responsibility will be to act as a people co-pilot for the MY Hub and Spend Category, supporting the implementation of their business strategy, ensuring HR activities are coordinated and streamlined across the Hub and Category. You will also provide functional HR guidance to the Hub and Spend Category (OD&D, Talent Management, Change Management), whilst ensuring that appropriate HR insight is provided for business decisions, and HR processes are fully leveraged.

A day in the life of a Human Resources Business Partner for Nestrade

  • Contribute to the execution of the business plan through the creation (where appropriate) and implementation of the People Strategies that attract, develop and retain employees.
  • Drive flawless execution of Global and local HR Initiatives. Co-ordinate and execute workforce planning for the specific customer unit. Provide timely recommendations to business head on people agenda”
  • Ensure people issues are a key consideration when discussing and planning business activities. Manage effective organizational transformation and change projects using best practice methodologies.
  • Ensure change management strategy implementation within Nestrade, including organizational design and capability building.
  • Implement People cycle activities ie. Total Rewards, Talent Management and develop agenda for the business unit
  • Driving Management trainee and university relationships “
  • Act as People co-Pilot to the business unit, mentoring and coaching the business head and his/her team
  • Lead the promotion of an inclusive culture that is safe, productive, empowering and equitable
  • Shape the culture to align with Nestlé goals & initiatives through supporting & coaching Line managers in their implementation of core people processes. Work with leaders to enhance current and future functional and leadership capability needs.
  • Coach others to behave and make decisions in line with Nestlé Purpose and values. Responsible for compliance in HR (policies and practices).

What Will Make You Successful

  • University degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an HRBP in multinational or complex structure
  • Successful experience in contributing to the creation, implemention & execution of people strategies for a business, function or unit.
  • Good knowledge about local legislations and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills – with the ability to influence and coach a variety of stakeholders across a complex organization.
  • Strong business acumen : understanding of the business, performance drivers and long term direction
  • Fluency in English, any other language will be an asset
