Exciting People & Culture Manager Opportunity with Victorian State Government!
Your new company
This in Victorian State Government authority is responsible for the growth and development of Victoria through several initiatives to allow the state to move forward and enhance its infrastructure. An opportunity has become available for a new Manger in the People and Culture team, joining on a three-year fixed term contract. You will use your expertise of all functions of HR and strategic HR project management to partner with the business and support a wide range of HR initiatives.
Your new role
Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, and consulting with senior stakeholders, the position will encompass a variety of HR responsibilities. This role provides key oversight and management of the HR Team. The manager will be the point of direct escalation point for leading complex senior advisory and business partner activities and is responsible for ensuring delivery of best practices, programs, solutions and tools that minimize risk.
What you’ll need to succeed
The right candidate should have strong experience and knowledge of all functions in HR, including Employee Relations/Industrial Relations. A history of success managing change projects would be favourable. Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude are also required. Candidates from all industrial backgrounds will be considered, but those with experience from the public sector are preferred. Candidates with a notice period can be considered but those with short notice periods or that are currently immediately available are desirable. you must be available for an immediate start.
