At Decision Lab, we’re looking for a Manager to join our fast growing team. In this Manager role, you’ll be tasked with designing, executing and presenting advertising, media and consumer research. Your job is to WOW our clients with brilliant research designs and powerful insights that lead to business implications.

You’ll work closely with clients and colleagues to ensure we always deliver best-in-class research quality. You’ll also be responsible for coaching and challenging our young talents on research methodologies.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Prepare and design advertising, media and consumer research that addresses the client’s marketing challenges
  • Prepare and present research reports for varied senior audiences
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional quality and service that builds and foster relationship with clients
  • Manage multiple research projects on a wide range of studies at the same time
  • Being a trusted advisor and consultant to our clients (i.e. brands, digital media platforms, advertising agencies, media agencies and publishers)
  • Review research reports before they are delivered to clients to ensure we deliver compelling and accurate data-driven stories
  • Actively contribute to (pre-)sales by participating in meetings with clients as the research expert and contribute to proposal writing
  • Collaborate with our Partners (digital media platforms, advertising agencies, media agencies and publishers) to deliver complex and innovative research designs
  • You’ll be coaching our young talents on research methodologies
  • You’ll be reporting directly to the CEO

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years in planning or marketing research roles from agencies or in-house research functions
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing research types and techniques (i.e. U&A, brand tracking, pre-/post campaign, brand lifts, consumer segmentation)
  • The ability and skills to embrace data-driven storytelling are essential to success. You know that insights without implications often are meaningless
  • Must be detail-oriented with the desire to WOW clients with research designs and reports
  • Deep understanding of branding, marketing and digital marketing techniques is strongly preferred
  • Strong project management skills that enable you to juggle several projects at the same time without getting overwhelmed
  • Ability to convert transactional relationships to trusted partnerships
  • Strong positive energy, drive and enthusiasm balanced with patience and persistence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Vietnamese and English
  • Possess a CAN-DO attitude, ability to work in teams and the desire to join an international start-up
  • BA/BS degree required
