Key Role Focus

The Strategic Designer is the champion for Doodle’s client strategy, experience design or branding projects. This role is the key driver who makes it all happen. Collaborating closely with Doodle and Client’s senior leadership team, this role is accountable for pipeline management, proposal crafting, project delivery and facilitation as well as nurturing a partnership of trust and confidence with our clients.

Project Delivery and Facilitation (Lead)

  • Work with Doodle’s leadership and client team to understand and advocate which expertise and capabilities Doodle need to build to meet each client’s needs
  • Design strategies, brand and customer experience solutions that solve the problems clients face.
  • Facilitate customers’ discovery sessions using a mixture of traditional and HCD (Human-Centered Design) methods. From that, develop reports/findings/briefing outcomes to be used for the whole design cycle
  • Facilitate and engage in remote and in-person Design Thinking training & facilitation projects with/for clients.

Leadership

  • Collaborate with team members and external suppliers to ensure excellence of work delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional client teams to ensure projects are executed on time and on-demand.
  • Lead and coach the team by proposing necessary training to develop team members’ talents, skill-sets and experience.
  • Continue the development of HCD knowledge and practice.

Pipeline Management (Support)

  • Work closely with Doodle’s leadership to support the development of a new business pipeline.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Input, manage and follow up on client inquiries/requests and proposals.

Skillset:

  • Familiar with Human-Centered Design, Design Thinking, Research, and CX/UX/UI areas.
  • Exposed and experienced in brand design, business/strategy consultancy, workshop facilitation/training, User Research, Customer Experience Design Projects.
  • Exposed and experienced with using various collaboration tools and resources: Mural, Miro, Zoom, Team.
    At least 3 years working experience. Willing to travel. Flexible with work hours.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Vietnamese required.
