The Company

Pangdemonium is a proudly Singaporean not-for-profit theatre company with a mission to tell stories on the stage that are challenging, inspiring, relevant, accessible and above all, of the highest artistic, entertainment and production value, in a league with the very best of theatre internationally.

Our business team works out of a combined office and rehearsal space in Changi, close to public transportation. We work in a dynamic project-based atmosphere where communication, responsibility, and achievement are highly valued in equal measure with empathy, support, and an excellent sense of humour.

The Position

You will manage ticketing services for our Season Ticket holders as well as interface with our third-party ticketing service provider to ensure quality outcomes for all our patrons. You will be a key contributor to our mission to create a flawless theatre going experience for our valued audiences – our donors, sponsors, Season Ticket holders and the general public. The position will report directly to the General Manager. However, you will interface with the Fundraising & Engagement Manager for the handover process, training and orientation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage ticketing services for all company productions, workshops, and fundraisers.
  • Manage records and bookings for Season Ticket holders. Coordinate with Fundraising &
  • Engagement Manager to fulfil ticket allocations for individual donors, corporate and foundation
  • donors, sponsors and group sales.
  • Develop patron communication plans and membership service strategies. Answer questions and
  • resolve patron issues effectively balancing the constraints of the company with the satisfaction
  • of the patron.
  • Liaise with IMDA on production licensing matters.
  • Solicit school sales and interface with Tote Board for financial support to schools.
  • Partner with the Fundraising & Engagement Manager to manage and execute group sales and
  • bookings.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors and Marketing to launch our annual Season Ticket sales, maximize ongoing ticket sales revenue, and ensure an effective ticketing function.
  • Manage Front of House activities for all productions, including recruiting FOH volunteers.
  • Coordinate with Venue Managers on logistical and operational requirements during productions
  • and special events.
  • Supervise biannual rotation of Arts Business Management interns from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Requirements

  • Previous ticketing experience
  • A diploma in a business, arts management, or a related field
  • Excellent customer service skills including conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software, particularly Excel or database experience
